For the first time, Tax Return submissions crosses 1 million in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The number of the Tax Return submissions has crossed 1 million for the first time in the history of Pakistan. Over 1 million tax payers have informed FBR about their expenses and tax payments first ever in history.
According to FBR sources, tax payers consist of corporates have submitted the details of tax payments of fiscal year 2014-15.
FBR officials further stated that 7 days are left to submit tax return, expressing their hopes that numbers of tax return will further increase till 15 March, 2016.
According to the statistics, over 7 lakh men and companies belong to Karachi who submit tax return. Tax return submission date has been extended 6 times by the government.
