NAB sends team to Mansehra to arrest Safdar

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau has sent a team to Mansehra to arrest retired captain Safdar after receiving his arrest warrants.
According to a NAB spokesperson, it is coordinating with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as per law for arrest of captain Safdar.
Earlier, NAB had issued arrest warrants of Former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son in law retired Captain Safdar.
The spokesperson said all out efforts will be made to arrest the culprits.
He added that warrant will be implemented according to law.
Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and retired Captain Safdar have decided to file appeals against their sentencing by the Accountability Court.
According to sources, the appeal will be filed at Islamabad High Court. Appeals have been prepared by their counsel Khawaja Haris.
