Monsoon system enters Pakistan

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department spokesperson, heavy downpours are expected in Islamabad, upper Punjab and Kashmir from Sunday to Thursday while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive the rains from Tuesday as the Monsoon rains hit Pakistan.
He said the monsoon spell will also lash Sindh and Balochistan provinces from Friday to Sunday. The spokesperson further added that the rain will continue intermittently which may trigger flash floods in Barsati nullahs and land-sliding in mountainous areas.
