ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has once again lashed out at the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the Panama case corruption.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his non-democratic mindset when he declared people will do his ehtesab.
In his message on social media website, he said that this twisted logic is negation of democracy.
“People elect their reps and expect them to be accountable before the Law, adding that people do not expect those they elected to abuse the law with impunity,” he added.
The PTI chairman said: “Islamic and Western democratic traditions both uphold the norm of all being accountable and equal before law of the land.”
Khan said that the prime minister whining about development being impeded because he is being investigated for corruption should know development is damaged because of corruption.
