File case in ICC against mass murder of 1,42,000 Kashmiris by Indian Forces, NA body asks government

ISLAMABAD:National Assembly Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Wednesday condemned India for its unabated brutalities against Kashmiris living in occupied Kashmir.
The committee meeting chaired by Senator Professor Sajid Mir adopted a unanimous resolution expressing solidarity with Kashmiris and urging the United Nations to play its due role in granting the right of self determination to Kashmiris in accordance with their aspirations.

The resolution also urged the government to file a case in international Criminal Court against the mass murder of 142,000 Kashmiris by Indian forces since 1989.

Secretary Kashmir Liberation Cell and Kashmir Cultural Academy, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Muhammad Idrees Abbasi briefed comprehensively the committee about the issue of Kashmir.
He said 107,000 children had been made orphan in Kashmir since 1989. In 1946 there were 80 percent population was Muslim.Which had been reduced to 68.3 percent in 2011.

The meeting was attended by Senator Abdul Rehman Malik, Senator Baz Muhammad Khan.APP
