Pakistan ODI captain Sana Mir on Wednesday became the first woman cricketer from the country to reach 100 wickets in ODIs.

The 31-year-old reached the milestone during Pakistan’s victory against Bangladesh, where they defeated their opponents by 67 runs, at the ICC Women’s World Cup qualifiers. She is now the 15th player overall to reach the 100-wicket landmark in the women’s game.

Sana bagged two wickets for her team in her 10-over spell giving away just 19 runs. She was glad to help her side register their win in the qualifiers. “Finally we’ve got a win under our belt,” said Sana during the post-match presentation. “Credit goes to Bangladesh how they bowled today. They kept things very tight. I am happy with the way the girls played till the end. Overall, there are a lot of areas we need to improve upon before we go into the next round.”
