Saudi Forces entering Syria will go back in wooden coffins: Syrian Foreign Minister

DAMASCUS: Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem warned Saudi Arabia, West and Turkey that if any foreign troops entered in Syria they will go back in wooden coffins.

Syrian Foreign Minister statement came after Saudi Arabia announced to join ground operations led by US against ISIS in Syria.

Al-Moualem claimed that any ground intervention in Syria without the consent of Syrian government would be considered an act of self assertion.

He also claimed that recent successes of Syrian troops is an indication of the war coming to an end.

Aleppo was recently sieged by Syrian Army and Troops have cut down the main supply route to the rebels.

In this five years long war more than 260,000 people have been killed and half of the population has become homeless while 70,000 refugees have reached the country’s border with Turkey after the recent siege of northern town of Aleppo by the government forces.
