UNSC, Arab League to hold meetings over Jerusalem

The United Nations Security Council will meet tomorrow to discuss Donald Trump’s decision to recognize occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Request for the meeting was made by France, Bolivia, Egypt, Italy, Senegal, Sweden, Britain and Uruguay.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, talking to media, said he will do everything to persuade the Israeli and Palestinian leaders to return to meaningful negotiations.
Meanwhile, the Arab League will also hold an emergency meeting in Cairo on Saturday to discuss the situation.
An extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held in Turkey on Wednesday.
