ISLAMABAD - Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said assemblies can be dissolved a few months earlier for political mileage.
“Due to the situation in the country assemblies can be dissolved a few months earlier for political advantage. But no such decision has been taken so far,” he said this during an interview with a private TV channel.
In the interview he said, “PPP and PTI have no courage to dissolve Sindh and KP governments. If they resign from assemblies then it would be a disappointing step. Opposition parties particularly PTI have been demanding for dissolution of assemblies and for holding early election since long, he added.
Regarding Pakistan Peoples Party co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari dancing during 5oth foundation day celebration of PPP, Khawaja Asif said, “Asif Ali Zardari had ruined PPP and he was celebrating what doom PPP has met at his hands. He should have offered Fateha instead of celebrating.'
