PEMRA issues show cause notice to private TV Channel

ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Thursday issued show cause notice to Channel 24 for airing unverified audio tape of the passengers of ill-fated PIA plane before the crash.
PEMRA moved against private TV Channel for propaganda against Civil-Military relations
In the notice, PEMRA said the viewers have lodged complaints on twitter and complaint centre and termed the Channel 24 attitude as inhuman and unprofessional.
The channel has been asked to file a reply by Dec 15. PEMRA has the right to ban the channel, or suspend its licence if reply will not satisfactory.
