Pakistan Forex reserves status

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$23,344.4 million as on December 2, 2016, according to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
According to statement issued by the central bank, foreign reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 18,353.2 million while the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at US$ 4,991.2 million.
During the week ending December 2, 2016, country's total reserves decreased by US$270 million to US$23,344.4 million on account of external debt servicing, the statement added.
