LAHORE – National Accountability Bureau team raids house of former CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
A team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday raided the house of Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif to arrest his nephew in Chaudhary Sugar Mills case.
According to sources, the raid was conducted for the arrest of Abbas Sharif’s son Abdul Aziz. He is wanted in Chaudhary Sugar Mills case.
It is pertinent here to mention that the anti-graft watchdog had arrested Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz for skipping appearance in Chaudhry Sugar Mills and money laundering cases.
The PML-N leader was taken into custody when she arrived at Kot Lakhpat Jail to meet her father and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
