*LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Senator Chaudhry Sarwar has responded over the news of becoming governor Punjab. *
*He has denied rumours that he is interested in becoming the next Governor Punjab.*
The former Governor Punjab said that he has already been on the coveted post and does not want to become the governor again.
“I have already been Governor Punjab and have to desire to become again. In any case there will be no Governor House either,” he said, hinting that the luxurious official residence may be utilised for other purposes by the incoming PTI-led government.
Sarwar also denied the formation of an factions or groups within the party, and said that all were united under the leadership of chairman Imran Khan.
“There is no truth over rumours of a forward bloc in PTI . The party wants to move forward with allies, but we have no issues in forming the government in the Centre and Punjab,” he said.
He said that the PTI has a clear majority in Punjab and will form the next government, and they would accept any decision made by Imran Khan.
