PTI puts forward new proposal for probe into Ayesha Gulalai allegations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has presented a new proposal before the Speaker National Assembly for the probe on Ayesha Gulalai allegations.
PTI while has rejected the Parliament’s ethics committee formed to probe the allegations leveled by Ayesha Gulalai against the PTI leaders including Imran Khan.
The PTI’s chief whip at National Assembly Shireen Mazari wrote a letter to the NA speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for the purpose.
In her letter, she proposed that the parliament should appoint an independent Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards office, as done by the “mother of all parliaments”, the British Parliament.
