The President, PM and FM in waiting greet nation over historic judgement

ISLAMABAD - The opposition leaders have congratulated the nation on the historic judgment of the Supreme Court that nullified the ruling of the ruling of National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri on the voting of the no-confidence.

PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif said that the judgment had restored the sanctity of the constitution and Pakistan.

In a tweet, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz said that Alhamdullilah those who violated the constitution buried forever. "May Allah Almighty keep Pakistan shinning. Inshallah Shehbaz Sharif will be the prime minister," she added.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the verdict has made the constitution successful and defeated the 'selected'. "The apex court has set an example. All democratic institutions were made controversial due to the 2018 elections," he added.

He said that the opposition would move toward the fair elections after electoral reforms. "The verdict will be written in golden words," he added.

PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman announced to observe Friday as Thanksgiving Day. "The SC announced the verdict according to the spirit of the constitution. Inshallah, the nation will restart the journey of progress," he added.
