Sindh Governor inaugurates Roots Millennium School

KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Muhammad Zubair, on Saturday inaugurated the Roots Millennium School (RMS) at Bahria Town here on Saturday.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, he said that the academic institutions like Roots are not only imparting quality but also providing training to the youngsters.

The Governor said that there can be no headway in the society without education. It is essential that the students be fully encouraged to benefit from their talent as well as the abilities.

He pointed out that the federal government was paying special attention towards the promotion of education.

Zubair was of the view that research based education was the need of the hour.

He further pointed out that the future of Pakistan was very bright and that there is no dearth of talent in the country.

Governor said that he was happy to see the academic standard as well as the facilities at the Roots School.

The chief executive of the institution, Faisal Mushtaq, informed that 50 campuses are of the Roots Schools are functioning in 25 cities of the country,

He said that an institution was also functioning for the training of the teachers.

Today, Faisal Mushtaq added, the first campus of the Roots Millennium School has been inaugurated in Karachi.

After the inaugural ceremony, Governor Sindh visited various sections of the institution.

An official said that the process of teaching would commence from April 10.

He stated that the RMS is also in the process of establishing a university. (APP)
