Self-determination right should be given to Kashmiris: President Mamnoon

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain made it clear that breakthrough between Indo-Pak dialogues is not possible till the self-determination right of Kashmiris so India should give right of self-determination to decide their future.

 

While addressing a ceremony here at today (Friday) in Islamabad, Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistani people and government would continue their steadfast support to the Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their struggle till the freedom of Kashmir.

 

He added that peace and stability in the region is linked with the peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute and both countries should resolve its dispute through dialogues because use of power is not the way to settle disputes.

 

Talking about CPEC project, he stated that Pakistan China Economic Corridor Project is an extraordinary project for the revival of country's economy, adding that CPEC would not only benefit Pakistan but the entire region.

 

Speaking about the tussle between Iran and Saudi Arabia, he stressed on both countries to settle their dispute through negotiations saying that Pakistan has played its vital role for the improvement of both countries' ties.

 

All the institution are working under a joint strategy to cope the scourge of terrorism. President added.
