Majid Khan's name sent to PM Nawaz for new Chairman PCB

ISLAMABAD: Former test cricketer Majid Khan name has been sent to Prime Minister Nawaz by Riaz Pirzada for the slot of Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman here at today.
While responding an attention notice in NA over poor performance of Pakistan cricket team in Asia cup and T20 cup, federal minister for Inter-Provincial relations Riaz Pirzada said that opener batsman miserably failed while bowlers also could not perform well in Asia and T20 cup.
He further added that Head Coach, Coach and Selection Committee have been changed while name of Majid Khan, the former test cricketer has also been sent to PM Nawaz for the appointment of new Chairman of PCB.
While giving the example of Bangladesh, he stated that government and board supported their players but unfortunately in Pakistan and India teams are appreciated if they perform well and criticized in case of poor performance. Riaz Pirzada further elaborated that victory and defeat are part of game so we should support our team even during its poor performance.
Resignation reports of PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan were surfacing in media few days ago but he rejected all reports of his resignation in press conference.
