Indian veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh failed to mock Pakistani spinners
NEW DELHI - Indian veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh failed to mock Pakistani spinners over Twitter.
India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh tried to mock Pakistan spinners during a Twitter exchange with former opener Virender Sehwag, after the latter bragged about his batting record against spinners.
Sehwag shared a TV commercial of an adhesive on Twitter, linking it to his batting performance against spinners.
"Maine toh bas 14-15 saal spinners ko Chipkaya, par yeh to 60 saal se Chipka rahe hain! (I just smashed spinners for 14-15 years, but this adhesive has fixed things for past 60 years)," Sehwag said.
Replying to the Tweet, Singh said: "Viru teri Pakistan ke khilaaf average 91 thi, par har spinner Pakistani nahi hota. (Your average was 91 against Pakistan but not every spinner is a Pakistani)."
Harbhajan himself had a terrible bowling record against Pakistan, picking 25 Test wickets at a bowling average of 52.04 (his worst average against any country).
