Pakistan defence day observed with enthusiasm in China

BEIJING - Defense Day of Pakistan was also observed with great enthusiasm at Pakistan Embassy in Beijing.
Deputy Chief of Political Work Department of People’s Liberation Army, Maj. Gen. Jiang Qianming was the chief guest.
Adressing the ceremony, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khalid said the day is dedicated to remembering and paying tribute to Armed Forces of Pakistan in defence of the motherland.
He said Pakistan wants to maintain peace and stability in the region and promote prosperity and development.
