ISLAMABAD - Nawaz Sharif ordered McDonald’s burgers and soft drinks during the lunch break of the al-Azizia and Hill Metal references hearing at the accountability court on Thursday.
The deposed premier asked for fast food, after which Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Tanveer ordered his domestic help to bring the food for his leader.
Sharif, along with PML-N leaders Javed Hashmi, Irfan Siddique, Mushahidullah and Tanveer, ate the food in an adjoining room of a judge in the accountability court in Islamabad.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court judge had allowed the food to be brought inside the premises of the judicial complex.
