NAB files corruption reference against Gilani, Saleem, Farooq

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has filed corruption reference against former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, former Principal Information Officer Muhammad Saleem, former Secretary Ministry of Information Technology Farooq Awan and others for misuse of authority in illegal publicity campaign.
The media campaign was launched by an advertising agency that was not on the panel.
Moreover, there was no competition held for formally awarding the media campaign, which is against the PPRA rules and policy guidelines.
