CPEC: Gwadar Plan being revised by the government

*ISLAMABAD - A* new plan is being prepared by the Planning Commission in Islamabad keeping in view the needs of the people of Balochistan, especially those in Gwadar, CPEC Secretariat has revealed.
The aim of the master plan is to reassess the maritime situation and ports.
A lot of research and planning is required to make Gwadar stand out from other ports in the world, according to the secretariat. An integrated system of highways, airport, and railway is their top priority in Gwadar.
Before beginning the execution of city’s master plan, unplanned construction by the private sector needs to be discouraged, according to the secretariat.
