Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa to join PM Imran Khan in meeting with Chinese President in Beijing

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa to join PM Imran Khan in meeting with Chinese President in Beijing.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will head to China on Monday for an official visit in order to discuss issues of regional and bilateral importance with the Chinese leadership, *Radio Pakistan* link reported.

He will meet separately with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.

The Foreign Office (FO) in a statement today said that the prime minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid, Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar and others.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa will join the prime minister’s meetings with Chinese premier Li Keqiang and President Xi Jinping.

Premier will discuss expansion of projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and cooperation in the agriculture, industrial and socio-economic sectors.
