PMD issues weather warning for citizens of Karachi

KARACHI - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued weather warning for the citizens of Karachi.

PMD on Sunday has predicted that Karachi will witness yet another hot day with the temperature expected to hit a scorching high of 40 degrees Celsius.

The Met Office reported that the mercury will escalate further reaching a vehement high of 40 degrees further intensifying the heatwaves that will prevail in the city for the next two days.

According to the weather department, the dry weather will remain unchanged in most parts of the country while rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
