ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint a new project director for the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The current project director of PSL Naila Bhatt has decided to step down from her post.
Bhatti — who is also serving as board’s marketing director — was given additional charge of PSL project director by previous PCB Chairman Najam Sethi. She was also considered as one of the close companions of the former PCB chairman.
If she resigns a month or two before the PSL’s next edition, General Manager International Cricket Operations Usman Wahla, Director Domestic Cricket Operations Haroon Rashid and Director International Cricket Operations Zakir Khan are likely to be the frontrunners to replace her.
