Frontier Corps role lauded in fight against terrorism

ISLAMABAD - The Senate Standing Committee on Interior has unanimously appreciated the excellent performance of F.C against the anti-state elements and the action against foreign spies involved in terrorism.
The meeting of the committee was held in Islamabad on Wednesday with its chairman Senator A Rehman Malik in the chair.
The Committee also resolved that the budget of FC should be increased with no cuts in their already allocated budget and provision of helicopter.
The Committee also appreciated the services of IG FC Major General Nadeem Anjum for his courage and professionalism to counter terrorism in Baluchistan.
The committee said that the nation is proud of the LAEs. Police and Army in countering terrorism in Baluchstan.
