Indian forces crackdown in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD (APP): Indian forces in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a Kashmiri youth in a siege and search operation in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Monday.

Indian military is inflicting blinding as collective punishment on Kashmiris.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Forces personnel cordoned off the Wangam village around midnight and started operation in the area.Two forces' personnel were also injured in the crackdown.

The deceased was identified as Sadam Mir of Chatripora village of the district.

Forces claimed that the deceased was a militant.

After the operation, people took to the streets and staged massive pro-freedom demonstrations in the area.
