ASWJ leaders put under house arrest in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Police has started crack down against the sectarian elements in Karachi.

Maulana Taj Muhammad Hanfi, a leader of Ahle-Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ), has been put under house arrest for 30 days.

He was house arrested on the recommendation of DIG West .

The Sindh’s home department has also issued a notification in this regard.

The move comes two days after law enforcement agencies arrested Mirza Yousuf and former senator Faisal Raza Abidi.
