Erdogan, Putin discuss latest developments in Syria


Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have discussed the ongoing situation in besieged Eastern Ghouta and other latest developments in Syria.    

During the telephonic conversation, the two leaders termed delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians and ending the disaster in Eastern Ghouta as essential.

The two sides also described joint efforts of Turkey, Russia and Iran as crucial to fully implement a truce in Eastern Ghouta in accordance with the UN Security Council's decision. APP/AFP
