LDA city phase 1 development charges sought

LAHORE,Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided not to extend further the deadline of June 15, 2020 for depositing first installment of development charges for plots of LDA City phase -1.
The plot owners have been directed to pay the dues by the mentioned date otherwise mark up
at the rate of 17.50 per cent per annum would be charged on late payment, said a press release issued here on Sunday.
Last date for depositing these charges had initially been fixed as April 7, 2020 by LDA, but due to the prevailing situation the time limit was extended three times for the convenience of plot holders.
The authority has now decided not to extend the cut-off date any further and called upon the plot owners in LDA City for paying the amount due to them by this day positively to avoid mark up on late payments.
LDA had informed that development charges for plots of LDA City could be deposited in quarterly installments over a period of two years as per decision of the authority. The challan forms for payment of development charges could be downloaded from LDA's website www.lda.gop.pk or from LDA Insaf mobile App.
Charges could be deposited in any branch of Allied Bank Limited (ABL) across Pakistan.
LDA informed that transfer of plots of LDA City has been effected, but only after clearance of dues pending against plots.
