ECP meeting today to finalize name of caretaker CM Punjab

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is meeting on Thursday to finalize name of caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.
The ECP will nominate a caretaker Chief Minister for Punjab after the parliamentary committee failed to reach a consensus over the proposed candidates.
PTI had proposed the names of columnist Ayaz Amir and analyst Dr Hassan Askari for the office of caretaker chief minister, while PML-N nominated Pakistan Navy's former chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah and Justice (retd) Sair Ali.
