Supreme Court seeks explanation form Panama case JIT head

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan three member bench has taken action over the complaint filed by the Hussain Nawaz Sharif

The Supreme court’s three-judge bench, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, asked Wajid Zia, the JIT head, to submit an explanation on Hussain’s application against the video recording of witnesses.

Earlier in the day, Hussain pleaded the top court to form a commission led by a retired or serving judge to probe the leak of his picture taken while he was being interrogated by the JIT.

The prime minister’s son, through his counsel Khawaja Haris, also requested the apex court to stop the JIT from recording videos during interrogation.
