Panama Case JIT facing problems and hurdles, Supreme Court informed by JIT Head

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan three member bench heard the Panama Case Joint Investigation Team case today. During Wednesday’s hearing, the JIT head along with other five members submitted a classified progress report before the bench.

The probe body has reportedly highlighted problems and impediments being faced by its members during the investigations.

The bench asked Wajid Zia to file a separate application regarding the problems and hurdles faced by the JIT during the investigation and later the court would seek reply from Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Ashtar Ausaf Ali.

Reiterating its earlier observation, the bench once again emphasised that the investigation team should complete its work within the given timeframe of 60 days.

Later, the hearing was adjourned till Monday.
