ISLAMABAD: Supporters of the PML-N protested in Multan after an accountability court sentenced party leader Nawaz Sharif to 10 years in prison on corruption charges.
Nawaz’s daughter Maryam received a seven-year sentence, while his son-in-law, Captain (retd) Safdar was given a one-year sentence in a verdict that came as a serious blow to PML-N's campaign ahead of the July 25 elections. APP/AFP
