Former PM Nawaz Sharif announces to return home

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said he will continue his struggle till citizens living in the country are free from oppression and fear of speaking their mind.

Speaking before media in London (Friday), he said he was sentenced for changing the course of seventy years history of Pakistan.

He said he will strive to get sanctity of vote and peoples' right to power.

Nawaz Sharif said he was not sentenced on charges of corruption or looting the national exchequer, rather he was stopped for making Pakistan a developed and independent country.

He said he is coming back to Pakistan to face the cases against him. He said he will keep his resilience even in jail. He asked the people to fully support and side with him in his struggle.

He also asked them to break the chains of slavery by casting their votes in droves on 25th July.

Nawaz Sharif hoped that his party will win the elections 2018 with thumping majority.

He said as soon as his wife regains consciousness, he will proceed to Pakistan.
