RIYADH - Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Palestine met in the Jordanian capital Amman to discuss US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as capital of Israel.

The Arab League said that Donald Trump's announcement will spur violence throughout the region and described it a dangerous violation of international law, which has no legal impact.

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that efforts are underway to lessen losses on the Palestinian side and at the same time, minimize Israeli gains over the issue as well.
