Palestinian Cabinet urges sanctions over Israel’s settlement law

Palestinian cabinet has called on the international community to punish Israel for a contentious new law that allows settlement in occupied territories.
The call was made on Tuesday just after the Israeli parliament adopted the bill legalizing thousands of West Bank settlement homes built unlawfully on private Palestinian land.
