Govt taking steps to wipe out corruption: Iftikhar

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Iftikhar Durrani has said that the PTI government is taking effective steps to wipe out corruption from the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said steps are also being taken to reduce the financial deficit of national institutions.
Iftikhar Durrani said the government has set direction of the country's economy and a visible improvement will be witnessed in all government departments in coming few months.
Replying to a question, he said the National Accountability Bureau is completely an independent institution and is doing a very good job to curb the menace of corruption in the country.
