S Korean, Chinese nuclear envoys discuss war-ending declaration

BEIJING: The nuclear envoys of South Korea and China discussed the issue of declaring a formal end to the 1950-53 Korean War as part of a process to foster a lasting peace on the peninsula.
Representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs Lee Do-hoon met his Chinese counterpart Kong Xuanyou in Beijing today to strengthen the two countries' cooperation over security and other issues.
