US blocks UNSC statement in favour of Palestine

*New York – The US, as the only opposing member state, prevented the United Nations Security Council from issuing a statement in favor of Palestine, said the Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations.*
This is the second time the US, the Zionists' closest ally, has blocked the UNSC statement on Gaza Strip, said Riyad Mansour.
Calling the US rejection of the statement draft, suggested by Kuwait, 'very irresponsible', Riyad added the veto gave the Zionist regime 'the green light to continue with their onslaught against the civilian population'.
One week after a failed attempt on Saturday to urge the UN Security Council, to support an independent probe on the deadly protests , Kuwait decided to try again, which was blocked by the Washington on Friday evening.
'It's a matter the Security Council should address,' said Kuwait's UN envoy Mansour al-Otaibi.
The Israeli regime's soldiers responded to the peaceful protest of the Palestinians with live fire, killing 17 and injuring about 1,500 others, which was later called a success by an Israeli army official.
