ISLAMABAD - Pakistan dismisses baseless allegations circulating in a section of the Afghan media.
Responding to a question, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office categorically rejected callous and heartless attempts of certain sections of the Afghan media to exploit the tragic bombing at Kunduz seminary to cast baseless aspersions and insinuations against Pakistan.
He said this attempt is made by the segments that do not want good relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He said that Pakistan having suffered the trauma of similar tragedies, understands and shares the grief of the bereaved families and our Afghan brethren over the loss of precious lives in Kunduz.
Referring to ongoing positive engagements with the Afghan Government he said, Pakistan is committed to do all it can in support of the brave Afghan nation and its security forces in the quest for lasting peace and stability.
