CM Punjab’ decision of scholarship lauded by Artists

LAHORE: (APP) Film director Hassan Askari, artist Masood Akhtar and drama writter Muneer Raj on Friday appreciated the Punjab chief minister for taking decision to award scholarship to film, TV and stage artists besides singers, musicians and technicians of the film industry on monthly basis.
Talking to APP here, they said the decision had given a new life to those artists who were unable to earn their bread and butter.
They added that thousands of artists from the province had submitted their applications and secrutiny of these applications was underway for financial help.
