AJK PM urges world powers to settle Kashmir dispute

MIRPUR (AJK), (APP): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has called upon the international community, United Nations, global human rights organizations and the civilized world to play their due role for ensuring early peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue.

He was talking to a visiting delegation of members of British Parliament who called on him in the state's capital town late Thursday.

The parliamentary delegation comprised of Nee Gill Headliston, Mark Paosay, Henry Smith Metheu Offerd, Rolsten and Pakistan-origin Abdul Rehman Chishti.

AJK minister for Health Dr Najeeb Naqi, Minister for Information and Tourism Mushtaq Minhas and senior officials of the government were also present on the occasion.

Highlighting the plight of the people of Indian occupied Kashmir, the prime minister underlined that Indian occupational forces are targeting the innocent Kashmiri's engaged in peaceful struggle for freedom from Indian yoke, of the State terrorism.

India, he further said, have thrust draconian black laws to suppress Kashmiri's indigenous struggle for freedom in the occupied state.

He said New Delhi was blatantly committing war crimes through ithe reign of state terrorism in the occupied valley with the motive to suppress Kashmiri's voice for freedom.

He emphasized for early settlement of Kashmir issue to wipe out poverty, ignorance and starvation besides for everlasting and durable peace in South Asia.

He said the regional peace in South Asia has been put on stake only because of the stubborn approach and constant skip from the settlement of Kashmir issue by India.

He said martyrdom of young Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani in July last year has infused a new spirit in the ongoing struggle for freedom of the motherland from Indian yoke.

He said valiant Kashmiri's were responding the Indian bullets with stone pelting with their open chest.

He categorically declared that internationally acknowledged Line of Control could never be turned into a permanent border nor India could succeed in her nefarious designs.
