Rangers would also launch operation in interior Sindh if powers given to them


KARACHI: While expressing his satisfaction over the law and order situation of Karachi, DG Rangers Maj. Gen. Bilal Akbar said that locals have fully supported Rangers to restore peace in the city.

 

As per details, DG Rangers visited polling stations of PS-115 today to witness security arrangements on the occasion of by-elections of NA-245 and PS-115.

 

While talking to media, DG Rangers stated that current circumstances of Karachi is the result of mutual efforts of Rangers and Karachi people. He also appealed people to continue their cooperation with Rangers to maintain the peace of Karachi.

 

Rangers would also launch operation in interior Sindh if powers are given to them by government, Gen. Bilal stated, adding that operation in Karachi would be taken to its logical end.

 

DG Rangers made it clear that peace in Karachi is not temporary but permanent and Rangers also enjoyed support of both Sindh and federal governments to restore peace in Karachi.
