India not interested in composite peace dialogue with Pakistan: Pak High Commissioner

NEW DELHI: Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi Abdul Basit claimed that the arrest of alleged Indian spy from Balochistan proved that India is not interested in composite peace dialogue with Pakistan.

He claimed that India’s secret spy agency is responsible for unrest and destabilization of Pakistan.

He said “We all are aware of those who seek to create unrest in Pakistan and destabilize the country. They are bound to fail as the people of Pakistan are united to effectively counter anti-Pakistan subversive activities.”

Basit claimed that peace process between two countries has been suspended and there is no chance for NIA to visit Pakistan to probe Pathankot attack.

He claimed that Kashmir dispute is the root cause between two countries and there is no short cut to resolve the issue but dialogues.

Abdul Basit was speaking with media during an event in New Delhi.

Earlier, Pakistan JIT visited India to probe Pathankot attack that was linked with Pakistan based organization JeM by India.

JIT didn’t found any clue that indicates that attackers belong to Pakistan.

JIT claimed that the attackers were killed by Indian forces within few hours and its claim of 72 hours long gun battle with militants was just an episode to attract the world.
