Gilgit Baltistan CM calls on PM Nawaz today in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Gilgit Baltistan CM Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here at today (Thursday) in PM House and discussed the affairs related to ongoing development projects in Baltistan.
As per details, Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman held meeting with PM Nawaz today and informed him about the ongoing development projects. He also briefed PM Nawaz over the welfare schemes of Baltistan.
On the occasion, Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman also thanked PM Nawaz for sending C-130 aircraft for rescuing the tourists in Gilgit. Baltistan’s people expressed their confidence over PML-N in elections so public mandate demands to improve their living standard and meet their basic needs of life.
Prosperity and progress of Baltistan is the first priority of PML-N government while steps are being taken on priority basis to resolve the issues of people in Baltistan.
PM further added that our government is committed to the uplift of the area saying that government is making all possible efforts for the development of the Gilgit- Baltistan region.
Nawaz made it clear that tickets in next elections of Gilgit-Baltistan Council would be given to candidates on merit.
