Corps Commander Conference takes vital national security decisions 

 

 

RAWALPINDI: Corps Commander meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel while internal and external security situation of the country was also discussed in the meeting.

 

According to ISPR, Army Chief chaired meeting of Corps Commander here at today (Thursday) in GHQ, Rawalpindi and discussed about the ongoing operation against terrorists and their facilitators in Shwal.

 

Corps Commander meeting also reviewed Pak Army's professional affairs as well as internal and external security situation of the country. Matters related to foreign spy agencies' activities in Pakistan also came under discussion in the meeting.

 

The meeting expressed its grief over the violations of border areas by India and Afghanistan and decided to take strict action against those who violate border areas.

 

The military leadership agreed to take every possible step to stop anti-Pakistan activities saying that no compromise would be made on the integrity of Pakistan at any cost.

On the issue of external involvement of RAW in Pakistan internal affairs the resolve was shown to further unearth the network and at the same time the matter would be raised at all highest diplomatic levels to restrain India from indulging in destabilising activities in Pakistan.
