NAB Chief approved 5 high profile enquiries against top officials

ISLAMABAD - National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved five inquiries against various individuals and entities.

Meeting of the Executive Board of the anti-graft body was held in Islamabad today with retired Justice Javed Iqbal in the chair.

The meeting also accorded approval to investigation against CDA officers and others.

The anti-corruption organization decided to end investigation against former Chairman National Insurance Corporation Limited and others while closing the inquiries against former MNAs Mian Imtiaz, Ghulam Rabbani Khar, Hina Rabbani Khar among others on lack of evidence.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman Javed Iqbal said NAB is committed to eradicate corruption from the country and take the mega graft cases to their logical end, besides recovering the money from corrupt elements. He said motto of NAB is corruption free Pakistan.
