Mickey Arthur, who accused Pakistanis of Match fixing appointed as new cricket coach

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed South African Mickey Arthur as new head coach of Pakistan Cricket team.


As per details, name of Mickey Arthur has been finalized for the appointment of new head coach of Pakistan cricket team. PCB Officials said that two years contract has been done with Mickey Arthur and he would take his responsibility of coaching in this current month.


Mickey has also served as coach of Australian Cricket team in 2013 while South African team grabbed top position in his tenure but due to differences with South African Board, he resigned from his designation.


It is also worthy to mention here that Pakistani players had been accused by Mickey to be involved in match fixing in 2010 and he was also sent legal notice by Pakistan Cricket Board on his allegations.


Three names were finalized by PCB which included Steward Law, Andey Moll and Mickey Arthur.


Mickey is the third South African cricketer who is going to become the head coach of Pakistan cricket team.
